Zug, Switzerland, 7 March 2005 - Infront Sports & Media has reached agreement with talkSPORT Ltd. of the United Kingdom for non-exclusive radio broadcast rights for the 2006 FIFA World Cup™. The deal gives talkSPORT access to all 64 matches (live and delayed) for the territory of the United Kingdom, including Northern Ireland.

talkSPORT is the UK's number one commercial radio station, with 6.3 million listeners every week, according to the latest national broadcast media survey of radio and TV audiences by GfK Media*. talkSPORT, based in London, along with 16 local radio stations, is owned by the Wireless Group.

Radio coverage of the FIFA World Cup™ is becoming increasingly important as a category of the overall broadcast. Oliver Seibert, an Executive Director of Infront said, "We are pleased at the agreement with talkSPORT in the UK, one of the most important markets in terms of football. The interest shown in the 2006 event by radio broadcasters is very encouraging, showing how important it is to offer audiences a multitude of opportunities to follow the event in the medium of their choice."
