China’s National Football Teams

Infront’s agreement with the China Football Association covers all key aspects of the marketing and technical development of the Chinese men’s, women’s and youth national teams, breaking new ground in its approach.

Shared goals for shared glory

Infront is the exclusive global marketing partner for China’s national football teams until the end of 2010. This means that Infront will be working with the CFA through the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and up to and including the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ in South Africa.

 

The agreement is novel because it includes the implementation of a comprehensive technical development plan for the teams, which will involve recruiting experts in specialised areas such as coaching, nutrition, scouting and psychological preparation.  It will also require Infront to use its contacts with FIFA and among the many national football associations that it represents, to arrange challenging opponents for friendly matches.

 

Infront is thus identifying itself not solely with the commercial programme but with the development of the teams, sharing risks and rewards and helping to support the performance and success of Team China in the most profound sense. It is a new kind of relationship.
