Fortuna Düsseldorf extends partnership with Infront ahead of time to 2017

The international sports marketing company will continue to market all commercial rights of the club

Düsseldorf, Germany - Fortuna Düsseldorf and marketing partner Infront Sports & Media have extended their successful collaboration ahead of time. The international sports marketing company will continue to market all commercial rights of the club – including the main sponsorship, hospitality packages and stadium advertising – from its location in Düsseldorf. The new contract starts from the 2013/14 season and has a term of four years.

LED advertising at all home games in the future

Starting with the coming season, Infront together with the club will take board advertising a significant step forward. The LED-systems provided by Fortuna’s marketing partner are technologically the most advanced on the market. The same model is used for many international football competitions like the FIFA World Cup™, the UEFA EURO™,  the  DFB national team matches, the DFB Cup and for several clubs of the Bundesliga. In the future, Fortuna Düsseldorf sponsors shall benefit from optimised visual representation of their brand message and greater impact on TV.

The Infront team in Düsseldorf is directed by Marco Sautner and is located in the ESPRIT arena as the Fortuna office. The proximity to all operations and the intensive exchange with the club were indicative for the partnership right from the start and led - based on an optimised sponsorship structure - to the respective marketing successes. That way Infront succeeded to expand the support for the club from formerly three to ten premiumPARTNERs securing famous brands such as Energy Consulting, Henkel, Hitachi,, Opel and Warsteiner. With - the prepaid brand of Vodafone Germany – there’s also a strong main and shirt sponsor on board. On the third level numerous regional companies continue to commit as fortunaPARTNERs – many of them with long-term contracts.
