Freiburg/Rüsselsheim, Germany – Adam Opel AG and SC Freiburg extend their partnership ahead of time. In 2012, the automotive group returned to football sponsorship, initially for a period of two years following a ten year absence. Opel will now remain the Official Automotive Partner of SC Freiburg also beyond this season. Infront Sports & Media, exclusive marketing partner of the Bundesliga club has negotiated the contract prolongation.
As part of the agreement, Opel is to receive a number of promotional and activation options in the stadium and at its own sales locations, as well as a hospitality contingent for retailers, employees and customers. In addition, Opel will supply the club with a fleet of vehicles for use by employees, the teams and the youth squads.
