Otelo extends as main and shirt sponsor of Fortuna Düsseldorf ahead of time

Infront negotiated the prolongation with the Vodafone brand until 2016


Düsseldorf, Germany – Otelo, a Vodafone brand, is to stay on board as main and shirt sponsor of Fortuna Düsseldorf for the next two seasons. The contract, which is in place since 2012/13 and was due to expire at the end of the current season, was extended ahead of time - until 2016 - by the club’s marketing partner Infront Sports & Media.

In addition to the shirt sponsorship, Otelo receives additional wide-reaching advertising space in camera view as well as a comprehensive hospitality and ticket contingent. PR and promotional opportunities with players and officials are also part of the package and allow a close association with the team and the club.

Dr. Peter Walz, Director Consumer Sales & Wholesale of Vodafone Germany, said: “We are very pleased with the successful collaboration with Fortuna Düsseldorf over the past two years. Especially due to the shirt sponsorship, we were able to clearly increase the brand awareness of Otelo.”
