Schwarzwaldmilch becomes new Main and Shirt Sponsor of SC Freiburg


Infront facilitates the partnership with the national dairy brand

Freiburg, Germany – Beginning with the 2016/17 season, Schwarzwaldmilch, the Freiburg based cooperative dairy, will become the Main and Shirt Sponsor of SC Freiburg with the Schwarzwaldmilch logo featuring prominently on the jerseys of the team kit. The contract brokered by Infront Sports & Media, marketing partner of SC Freiburg, is valid both for the 1. and 2. Bundesliga.

Andreas Schneider, Managing Director of Schwarzwaldmilch, explains: “Our roots are here in the Black Forest - today as much as in the past. We are proud to enter this partnership with the most likeable football club in Germany and the most successful football club in the region. This sponsorship will help to expand our market position by increasing local, regional and national awareness of our brand.”

In addition to the logo featured on the team jersey, the sponsorship package includes additional wide-reaching advertising exposure in camera view including static advertising boards, perspective carpets (Get-ups) and LED boards. Furthermore, Schwarzwaldmilch is currently planning a number of activities for fans and spectators of the club for the start of the sponsorship.

Andreas Schneider adds: “In addition to the team and the coaching staff, it is the SC fans who make the club so likeable.” Investment into SC Freiburg’s youth teams further compliments the agreement and emphasizes Schwarzwaldmilch’s commitment to the future of the club.
