Six-year partnership includes commercial media and sponsorship rights of 1st Team and FCZ Academy.
Zug / Zurich, Switzerland — InfrontRingier and FC Zurich have agreed a a long-term partnership for the overall marketing of the Swiss club starting from the 2018/19 season. The six-year agreement covers the commercial media and sponsorship rights for the first team, who returned to the top tier of the Swiss League this season and currently sit third, as well as the junior teams (FCZ Academy).
InfrontRingier will implement a tailored marketing concept developed especially for the club including the support and further development of existing sponsoring partnerships, procurement of new sponsors and the sale of hospitality packages at the Letzigrund Stadium.
On the rise
FC Zurich is one of Switzerland's most successful clubs, winning 12 Swiss Super Leagues and Swiss Cups. This season an average of 12,000 fans have attended matches, the third highest in the league, illustrating the potential this new partnership could have for current and potential sponsors.
The partnership will use the past achievements of the club as a basis to build on long-term economic success. InfrontRingier, with its experience in Swiss marketing, will be in close and constant partnership with the city club.
The partnership will look to generate added value for sponsors and expand and enhance the club's business sales structures to create a solid foundation for future sporting success.
