Freiburg, Germany, 19 July 2010 – Ehrmann, dairy manufacturer from the Allgäu region, is to become the main sponsor of SC Freiburg. The Bundesliga club, its marketing partner Infront Sports & Media and Ehrmann AG announced the sponsorship agreement during a press conference today. The contract will run until the 2011/12 season and includes the shirt sponsorship of the club’s Bundesliga team.

With Ehrmann – based in the Allgäu region – Infront and SC Freiburg could win a strong regional partner along with international success for the most southern Bundesliga club as a result. Ehrmann will benefit not only from their logo on the SC Freiburg shirts but also from significant stadium advertising inventory in camera view around the badenova stadium. The use of perimeter advertising boards and perspective logo carpets as well as the recently introduced state-of-the-art LED board will provide the company with exceptional brand visibility.

 

100 percent family-owned and committed to social responsibility, Ehrmann shares many of the values that SC Freiburg is associated with – likeable, credible and sustainable. In the framework of this partnership, the similarities of the two brands, in terms of authenticity and sympathy, will be prominent. Even more as Ehrmann will also be involved with SC Freiburg’s football school, best known for its sustained young player development.
