Emmi and Infront Sports & Media sign sponsorship agreement
Emmi – a new international partner for alpine ski racing
After scrutinising multiple options, Emmi has decided to realign its sponsorship activities. Going forward, its sponsorship strategy will focus on worldwide involvement as a partner to the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup. Emmi has signed a multi-year sponsorship agreement with Infront Sports & Media, which is based in Zug and collectively markets the advertising and sponsorship rights to numerous FIS Alpine Ski World Cup events. The agreement entitles Emmi to be on the slopes and at the heart of the action during the most important FIS World Cup events in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Italy and North America. Their association will include involvement at some of the most renowned Alpine skiing competitions such as the giant slalom in Adelboden and the legendary Lauberhorn ski race in Wengen.
New, highly attractive marketing concept with many options for promotion and presentation
Emmi’s involvement will be based on a new marketing and sponsorship concept for the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup introduced by Infront and set to debut this winter. It will provide seven international partners per race with high visibility at various points along the ski run. For instance, Emmi will have the opportunity to display its banners and logo in prime locations of the course, within the start and finish areas, or to brand the athletes’ bib numbers – which will guarantee extensive television coverage.
Each partner also has a wide range of presentation options at the respective event locations. Alpine ski racing is the ideal setting for Emmi to advertise as a dynamic Swiss company in its home market of Switzerland as well as in other key markets such as Germany, Austria, Italy and the US.

Emmi is not only focused on alpine ski racing but also on a full sponsorship concept for winter and summer activities, with an emphasis on the alpine region. Emmi will fine-tune its new strategy in the coming weeks before it is unveiled to the general public.
