Zug, Switzerland / Vienna, Austria, 16 December 2011 – The long-standing marketing partnership between the Austrian Football Association (ÖFB) and Infront Sports & Media is being extended for a further period, from 2012 to 2014. The new contractual period will incorporate the qualification matches for the 2014 FIFA World Cup™.

The marketing partnership between the ÖFB and Infront has been running since 2006. The new agreement covers the marketing rights for home qualification and preparation matches played by the Austrian national team (A team).

 

Alfred Ludwig, CEO of the Austrian Football Association, said: “Infront has been a most reliable and experienced partner of the ÖFB for many years and has always delivered the best possible results in terms of distributing the stadium advertising rights for our A team matches. The new contract provides us with the financial stability required for the next few years, so that we can fully concentrate on the upcoming 2014 FIFA World Cup™ qualification round.”
