Zug, Switzerland / Salzburg, Austria, 30 June 2010 – Red Bull has appointed Infront Sports & Media as exclusive media rights partner for the Red Bulls Salute, which will form the final for the new European Hockey Trophy in ice hockey from this year forward.

The European Hockey Trophy is a pre-season, invitational event for 18 top clubs from leading European hockey markets like Finland, Sweden, Czech Republic, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Norway. The Red Bulls Salute, already in existence, has been combined with the new tournament, in order to create an exciting eight-team grand final, which is expected to attract the attention of ice hockey fans across Europe from 3 - 5 September 2010. It is the biggest pre-season club competition in Europe.

The high quality international feed produced for all eight games will be created using a minimum of 10 cameras per game.
