SC Freiburg to use latest-generation LED advertising system for the 2010/2011 Bundesliga seasonInfront Sports & Media offers advertising partners more flexibility and improved brand visibility Freiburg, Germany, 7 June 2010 – The agency agreement concluded between Infront Sports & Media and SC Freiburg in November 2009 is continuing to deliver benefits to all parties. From the 2010/11 season a state-of-the-art LED advertising board will be deployed for all home team matches. The upgrade will make these matches far more attractive to advertising partners and push them further toward the standards set by the most successful teams in the German Bundesliga. The latest-generation LED advertising system – acquired last year by Infront from market leader Imago – will be positioned along one side of the pitch in camera view. Brand visibility is significantly improved as a result, with regular fade-in intervals combined with the highest quality colour reproduction and contrast levels. At 100 metres long / 1 meter high, the LED board will not only capture the attention of TV audiences. Due to the optimised visual message and the opportunity to use animations, it will also serve as an eye-catcher for fans in the stadium, assuring a cost effective advertising platform to regional sponsors.

Infront has also improved the static advertising space, boosting the attraction for SC Freiburg’s commercial partners. In the future, they will have access to five boards, each of them 10 meters long, rather than the original format of three 7 meter boards.
