Zug, Switzerland / Milan, Italy, 06 September 2007 – The Final Round of the Senior Men’s and Women’s Volleyball Indesit European Championships 2007, running from September 6-16 in Russia (Moscow/St. Petersburg) and from September 20-30 in Belgium (Charleroi/Hasselt) and Luxemburg respectively, will feature a comprehensive global media programme.

It is implemented by Infront Sports & Media, exclusively in charge of delivering the media rights to the Confédération Européenne de Volleyball’s (CEV) premier events. The Infront Group will deliver worldwide broadcast coverage through its Milan-based subsidiary Infront Italy.

Extensive Broadcast Coverage
Distribution of the media rights for both championships has been once again very successful. Altogether, Infront concluded agreements for more than 50 countries and territories worldwide and the events will be transmitted by 27 broadcasters. Most of these broadcasters will provide live or near-live transmissions, depending on the time zones and broadcaster schedules. In addition, there is a high level of news access interest. Live coverage will be available on the Internet through the online gaming entertainment platform www.bwin.com.

The host broadcasting for the 2007 Senior Volleyball Indesit European Championships – overseen by Infront and being carried out by n-TV in Russia and Infront Italy in Belgium/Luxemburg – will provide a state-of-the-art multi and unilateral broadcast production. This includes filming and transmitting a high quality signal, as well as supporting broadcasters in their unilateral production, transmission and commentary facilities and services. The production will include more than 13 cameras in each arena and for each game.

Television audiences and spectator totals for both tournaments are rising year on year. The event is predicted to deliver another success story in terms of reach and exposure around the world building on past achievements.
