Monza, Italy, 5 May 2011 – Wind, Italy's third-largest mobile phone operator, will be the Title Event Sponsor to the Monza round of the FIM Superbike World Championship – promoted by Infront Motor Sports. As one of the few European companies to offer integrated mobile, fixed and Internet services, Wind will be teaming up with this week-end’s Superbike event, now called the ‘Wind Italian Round – Monza 2011’.

Close interaction with fans onsite
In line with their new slogan ‘Più vicini’ (Closer), Wind aims to get close to the fans by bringing its brand inside the SBK Superbike Village in Monza and to entertain spectators with promotions and commercial features. From Friday to Sunday, the dedicated fan area of 10,000 square metres will offer onsite spectators an entertaining programme of activities. High-performance Superbike models will be displayed for fans to admire along with the opportunity to watch the races from a reserved grandstand. Furthermore, a professional stuntman will provide high speed thrills for the fans enjoyment and there will also be the option to purchase premium motorbike equipment and merchandise.

For the sponsors involved, the SBK Superbike Village presents an efficient way to interact with the fans as well as to present, promote and sell their products in the surroundings of the circuit. Further SBK Superbike Villages will be organized in Misano Adriatico (12 June) and Imola (25 September).
