Infront Hospitality Management caters for the prestigious tennis event at the Saalsporthalle in Zurich

Zug/Zurich, Switzerland, 8 March 2011 – Infront Hospitality Management - the joint venture between the international caterer Kofler & Kompanie AG and the sports marketing company Infront Sports & Media - is the appointed hospitality provider for the 2011 BNP Paribas Zurich Open. The tournament, where international tennis legends compete against young talents, takes place from 8-12 March in the Saalsporthalle in Zurich. Infront Hospitality Management will be responsible for public and VIP hospitality at the entire venue during the five-day tournament.

Introduced in 2010, the BNP Paribas Zurich Open is being held this year for the second time. With its unique concept 'where champions meet talents' it offers fascinating encounters between emerging young tennis talent and the greats of tennis history - including Tim Henman, Goran Ivanisevic, Henri Leconte, Mark Philippoussis, Ivan Lendl, Thomas Muster, Pete Sampras and Michael Stich. Spectators can look forward to exciting tennis matches and also to excellent cuisine.

In employing Infront Hospitality Management, the organisers have chosen an experienced hospitality provider who brings the culinary atmosphere of major international sports events to Zurich.

Top chefs cook for VIP guests
Infront Hospitality is responsible for catering and hospitality in the lounges and VIP areas, where more than 500 guests are expected every day. This provision includes running the restaurant "Wimbledon," where top chefs, including famous names such as Reto Mathis, Armin Amrein and Heiko Nieder, are preparing exquisite meals. In the Players Lounge, Infront Hospitality Management is providing former and potential Grand Slam winners with the necessary energy in the form of savoury meals.

In the public sector, which includes the restaurant "Roland Garros " and several food booths, the visitors - up to 3,000 per day - can chose from a wide range of tasty food options, including basic wraps as well as high-end regional specialities. During the five days of the tournament, a staff of 70 will be working for Infront Hospitality to provide the high standard of service required by the organisers.
