Zug, Switzerland, 8 October 2008 - Infront Sports & Media announced that the company's Executive Director Asia, John Kristick, has chosen to leave the company as of 1 October 2008 moving on to fresh challenges.

As a member of the Group Management Committee, John Kristick has played a key role in Infront's success since its inception. In the last two years he has been responsible for the development of Infront's business in China.

Infront is now the most prominent international sports marketing agency in China, looking after the country's two top sports - basketball and football - at both national team and League levels. Prior to his role in Asia, John was responsible for the Infront Group’s marketing activities.

Philippe Blatter, Infront's President & CEO, said: “We owe a significant debt to John and we want to give him considerable recognition for his achievements for the Infront Group. He leaves our China business ready for the future and he will continue providing support on major projects during a transition period.”

John Kristick added: “My career with Infront has been hugely fulfilling and enabled me to experience almost every aspect of the industry around the world. After more than a decade working for the Infront Group, I leave behind many good friends, but I am confident that this is the right time for me to embark upon new challenges within the industry.”
