Zug, Switzerland, 07 September 2005 – Infront Sports & Media has signed an exclusive agreement with MTN South Africa. The rights granted are in the category of Mobile Telephony and give MTN the right to exploit up to four minutes of video material per match for "near-live" and/or delayed highlight coverage on mobile phones.

The deal, which is exclusive for the territory of South Africa, covers all 64 matches of the 2006 FIFA World Cup™ and also gives full access to the archive material from the 2002 FIFA World Cup™, which took place in Korea and Japan. The license is valid until October 2006.

Oliver Seibert, an Executive Director of Infront, said: "This deal is exciting and shows how the delivery of content is changing, reflecting the revolution in mobile telephones. We are very pleased that we have been able to reach this ground-breaking agreement with MTN; one of an increasing number of mobile telephony agreements for 2006".

Santie Botha, Executive Director of Marketing at MTN Group, said: ''Soccer is the religion of sports-mad enthusiasts around the world. MTN customers across Africa also share in the celebration of the beautiful game. As staunch soccer sponsorship supporters, MTN is delighted to extend the enjoyment of the game to our subscribers during this international show-stopper.''

Botha added: ''MTNLoaded subscribers already download entertainment, fashion and sports news onto their handsets as the demand for mobile content becomes more trendy and lifestyle-conscious. As a provider of infrastructure and network services, MTN is happy to partner with a global content provider, which ultimately stimulates enjoyment of the game. Through MTNLoaded, MTN subscribers will be able to download highlights of the FIFA World Cup 2006™.''

Launched in 1994, the MTN Group celebrates more than 10 years as a leading provider of cellular and communications services in Africa. The recent commercial launch of MTN's 3G network enables MTN to extend its leadership in the portal space and expand the range of services that MTN offers customers in an information-hungry environment. Infront and its dedicated host broadcast company HBS will provide the content, in the form of pre-produced mobile video content, including "near-live" video alert clips and post-match video highlights.
