Zug, Switzerland, 15 March 2005 -- Infront Sports & Media and the Austrian Ski Federation have renewed their current agreement for international television distribution of the Austrian FIS World Cup races (excluding the territories of Austria and Switzerland) to 2008.

The agreement extends the partnership across the next three seasons (2005/06, 2006/07 and 2007/08) and covers all FIS World Cup Alpine, Cross Country, Nordic Combined and Snowboard events taking place in Austria.
 
Infront and the Austrian Ski Federation will continue to consolidate coverage of the events in the established 'ski' markets, as well as pushing into new markets, particularly Eastern Europe where both parties see future television growth potential for skiing and snowboarding.
 
Oliver Seibert, an Executive Director of Infront said: "Winter sports are a priority for Infront and we are very pleased that we have been able to extend our current successful co-operation with the Austrian Ski Federation for a further three seasons. This will give us an opportunity to build on our current distribution strategy and develop coverage in new markets."
 
Austria, one of the world's leading winter sports venues, hosts some of the most important races of the FIS World Cup race calendar, including the world famous downhill from Kitzbühel and the night slalom from Schladming.
