18.02.05 -- Infront Sports & Media has signed an exclusive agreement with Lithuanian Radio and Television, for a package of television and radio broadcast rights including all matches of the 2006 FIFA World Cup ™.

Zug, Switzerland, 18 February 2005 - Infront Sports & Media has signed an exclusive agreement with Lithuanian Radio and Television (LRT), for a substantial package of television and radio broadcast rights, which includes all 64 matches of the 2006 FIFA World Cup ™ in Germany.
 
The agreement also includes television and radio broadcast rights for the annual FIFA Galas which take place at the end of each calendar year, plus the 2005 FIFA Confederations Cup, which will take place in Germany from 15th – 29th June 2005.
 
The agreement will provide football fans in Lithuania with extensive, free-to-air television coverage of the world's most popular sports event. Broadcast rights sales for the FIFA World Cup™ in the Baltic region are nearly complete.
